Mr. Nathan C. Long specializes in corporate litigation and general corporate matters.  In his litigation practice, Mr. Long prosecutes and defends claims against U.S. corporations and multinational companies based in the United States, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Ireland and the Cayman Islands.  These cases have dealt with a myriad of issues including breach of fiduciary duty, defamation and extortion, conversion and unjust enrichment, breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud and misrepresentation, etc. 

In his corporate practice,  Mr. Long focuses on international transactions, startup companies, mergers/acquisitions and anti-discriminatory business practices.  Mr. Long has represented the interests of minority owners and shareholders of TSM, FTX and Guildhouse in branding deals with corporate sponsors, reviewed harassment and discrimination policies for employers while drafting handbook and compliance training for employees, and represented venture capitalists in cryptocurrency and cannabis investments.

Mr. Long has spent the first 8 years of his legal career in civil litigation.  His focus was the prosecution of catastrophic personal injury claims, employment discrimination and major products liability cases.  These cases ranged from wrongful death and disability discrimination, to defective lithium batteries and football helmets.  Mr. Long has sued and litigated cases against every major American insurance company, winning millions of dollars for his clients.

Mr. Long is a Bay Area native, earning his B.A. and M.A. in Broadcast and Electronic Communications from San Francisco State University and J.D. from the University of San Francisco with certification in Intellectual Property and Technology Law.  Earlier in his life, Mr. Long had a penchant for adrenaline inducing activities, dabbling in things like mixed martial arts, skydiving and dirt biking. An unabashed gourmand, Mr. Long spends his off time traveling the world in search of the perfect bite. From street food in Hanoi to Michelin stars restaurants in Barcelona, the quest is never-ending.
